THE INNER JOURNEY REVIEW

I took 14 pages out of my 204 page Winning Hearts and Minds book and converted them into this ‘Inner Journey’ booklet. My book takes about 5 hours to read and this colourful booklet will only take you about 20 minutes to read. I think that many people are looking for a shorter and more digestible read.

We live in a very visual world where a high price tag is placed on image. Billions are spent on appearance. Clothing, shoes, beauty products, cosmetic surgery and hair styling all form part of the ‘Outer Journey’. I feel that the ‘Inner Journey’ is more important and I am certain that a fraction of the money is spent on the ‘Inner Self.’ The inner journey is a mental, emotional, attitudinal and spiritual one.

In the ‘Inner Journey’ the first section focuses on ‘Getting Along Well with Yourself.’ The person that we spend the most time with is ourselves. We cannot escape ourselves. When things are going well on the inside, we feel good about ourselves. When the pain, shame and broken promises arrive at our doorstep, the situation changes. I share five tips that can help people to get on well with themselves. These tips can improve the inner journey. Love, kindness and encouragement are the first three building blocks. We need to live these out in our lives. Having motivational goals and being careful how we communicate with ourselves, are also very important.

The second part of the booklet focuses on the four-selfs. Self-Worth, Self-Belief, Self-Esteem and Self-Confidence all need to be considered carefully, when striving to strengthen the inner journey. We need to value ourselves and really have a strong belief in ourselves. Feeling good about ourselves and projecting ourselves in a positive manner, are also important.

The ‘Inner Journey’ has a big impact on the ‘Outer Journey.’ The outer journey is focused on our travels, our environment and the people that we interact with. Work hard on your mind, emotions, attitude and spirit and you will experience a big difference on the inside. I hope that you decide to invest in this booklet. I feel certain that you will find it meaningful, helpful and interesting.
